The Russian Air Force has received the first run of Ka-52 Hokum-B/Alligator multi-role helicopters which can destroy an enemy target eight kilometers away.
The Ka-52 can fly reconnaissance missions, assign targets and coordinate helicopter-unit operations.
Each Ka-52 helicopter is equipped with a 30-mm cannon, Vikhr (Vortex) guided missiles, S-24 free-flight rockets and bombs.
Its other specifications are as follows:
Take-off weight: 10.4 metric tons
Crew: Two
Cruise speed: 270 kph
Range: 520 km
Static ceiling: 3,600 meters
