Two remaining members of legendary rock group The Doors will play their first ever gig in Russia to mark the 40th anniversary of late lead singer Jim Morrison's death.
Keyboardist Ray Manzarek and guitarist Robby Krieger will take to the stage at Moscow's Crocus City Hall on July 7, under the name "Manzarek & Krieger from The Doors."
The Doors singer died in the bath in his Paris apartment of a suspected drug overdose in 1971, aged 27.
"Only The Doors songs will be performed," promoter Dmitry Sarayev told RIA Novosti. "The only thing as yet unclear is who will be standing in front of the microphone."
"There are rumors that it may be Dave Brock [of British rock bank Hawkwind], but they haven't been confirmed yet."
The reformed band has featured various singers including Ian Astbury, former lead singer of The Cult, since they began touring in 2003.
The Doors are famous for hits including Light My Fire and Riders on the Storm.
Tickets will go on sale later this week.
