This was not Iron Maiden’s first visit to Moscow. They played a concert at the same stadium in 2008.
The band flew into Moscow in a private jet piloted by lead singer Bruce Dickinson.
Iron Maiden lead singer Bruce Dickinson brings just as much energy and power to the band’s songs as he did 30 years ago. He was not the least bit worn out at the concert and it was clear that the fans inspired him to go all out.

The band is named after a medieval torture device that appears in the film “The Man in the Iron Mask.” The name suits the band’s dark image.

To date, Iron Maiden has released 15 albums. Their latest album, “The Final Frontier,” came out on August 16, 2010, after which the band launched The Final Frontier World Tour. The band will also visit St. Petersburg.
