Security officials have confiscated a fully-loaded magazine for a combat rifle from a female passenger at Moscow's Domodedovo airport, the Russian Federal Transport Service said on Monday.
"The military cargo was found in a travel bag belonging to a woman with a dual Israeli - U.S. citizenship," the service said in a statement. "She was en route from Tel Aviv to New York via Moscow."
Transport security has been in the focus of the Russian government since last month's deadly terrorist attack on the Domodedovo airport, which killed 36 and injured more than 120.
