The Orwell 2k “smart” video surveillance system can detect criminal activity and sound an alarm in an emergency.
Developed in Zelenograd, a Moscow district, the system features computer guided cameras to detect preset targets and respond to threatening situations, including the appearance of intruders or vehicles in restricted areas.
The Orwell 2k can identify various objects and classify them against specific numbers. It can calculate the speed of vehicles and people, their direction and it records the time of their appearance.
