Russia is ready to sign a contract with Iran on the delivery of radioactive isotopes for medical purposes, a spokesman for the Rosatom state-controlled nuclear corporation said on Tuesday.
He did not say when a contract could be signed.
Rosatom head Sergei Kiriyenko, who visited Iran earlier in the day, discussed with Iranian authorities their request for molybdenum-99 and iodine-131 isotopes.
