At least eight pupils were injured during a shooting near a secondary school in Auchinleck, southwest Scotland on Wednesday, local media have reported.
Police said the pupils "received minor injuries after being shot by an air weapon" near the Auchinleck Academy at 13.35 p.m. local time, the Scotsman quoted a police statement.
One of the pupils is currently receiving medical treatment in hospital. An investigation is ongoing.
