Gazprom CEO Alexei Miller and French President Nicolas Sarkozy discussed the Russian-French cooperation in energy at talks in Paris on Wednesday, the Russian energy giant said.
"Special attention was paid to progress in fulfilling joint projects of Gazprom and French companies," the company said in a statement.
Miller said "close cooperation of Europe's leading energy giants encourages economic development of the whole continent and joint Russian-French projects are a serious benchmark in establishing strategic partnership on the global energy market."
