Eleven pupils were injured during a shooting near a secondary school in Auchinleck, southwest Scotland on Wednesday, local media have reported.
The pupils "received minor injuries after being shot by an air weapon" near the Auchinleck Academy at 13.35 p.m. local time, police was quoted by the Scotsman as saying.
Five girls and six boys aged between 12 and 16 were shot near the building during a lunch break. One of the pupils is currently receiving medical treatment in hospital.
Police said two teenagers aged 15 and 18 have been detained and are being questioned.
