Paratroopers of the 106th Guards Airborne Division conducted day and night firing at the Dubrovichi range in the Ryazan Region as part of the command-staff exercise held on March 4. During the maneuvers, military personnel completed their operational tasks – they neutralized the hypothetical enemy with fire from the BMD-2 airborne combat vehicle, BTR-RD armored personnel carrier and hand-held grenade launchers. A MiG-27 fighter-bomber and frontline attack plane Su-24 provided air support. The firing exercises continued at night – about 10 combat vehicles and 70 soldiers were deployed on the battlefield.
