Russia's 2010 Premier League winners Zenit from St. Petersburg will face off against league runners-up CSKA Moscow on Sunday in the southern city of Krasnodar in a battle for the Russian Super Cup.
The Russian Super Cup will kick off the 2011 Russian football season. The Super Cup match will be played for the first time outside Moscow.
The relevant decision was taken by the Russian Football Union's executive committee and continues a trend of taking major matches out of Moscow.
The 2010 Super Cup was played in the capital's Luzhniki Stadium, but last year's Russian Cup Final saw Zenit St. Petersburg beat Sibir in Rostov. The 2011 Russian Cup Final will be played in Yaroslavl.
CSKA Moscow are looking for their fifth Super Cup title, while Zenit, who broke Moscow's near monopoly on the Russian championship in 2007, have won the trophy only twice.
