There is only one leopard in the Moscow Zoo: an Amur Leopard that lives in a single open-air enclosure with a double-level wooden construction, where it usually hides.
The polar bear is a big favorite with visitors. After two cubs were born last year, there is now a whole family of polar bears in this open-air enclosure.
A Moscow Zoo staff member told RIA Novosti that the cubs had recently been transferred to another zoo and that visitors can only see the adult bears, two males and two females who share the enclosure at the moment.
The enclosures where the hares and rabbits live draw far fewer visitors. These restless animals are always running around the enclosure or hiding.
