Prince William and Kate Middleton’s wedding will be the first in the history of royal weddings, for which music will be composed, recorded and be released as a soundtrack, not only on discs, but also on audio cassettes and vinyls, the Royal Palace’s press service said.
The official album, which will include music and songs by the choir from the Westminster Abbey, will be sold in the UK right after the ceremony on April 29, and from May 5 - around the world.
Musicians who have already confirmed their participation in the recordings are the Choir of Westminster Abbey, the London Chamber Orchestra and the brass band from the Central Orchestra of the Royal Air Force.
