Rescuers have extinguished six wildfires on an area of 163 hectares in the Russian Far East, the press office of the Emergencies Ministry said on Sunday.
"Six wildfires in three regions in the south of the Russian Far East were extinguished on an area of 162.5 hectares. The largest fire occurred in the Khabarovsk Territory, on an area of 100 hectares," the ministry said.
The firefighters also extinguished three wildfires on an area of 11.5 hectares in the Jewish Autonomous Area and two fires on an area of 51 hectares in the Primorye Territory, the ministry said.
