A vintage military vehicle show dedicated to the 66th anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945 was held in St. Petersburg’s Admiralteisky District on May 5.

A vintage military vehicle show dedicated to the 66th anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945 was held in St. Petersburg’s Admiralteisky District on May 5.

The vehicles were made available by the Association of Military History Clubs.

The motorcade comprised 10 military vehicles, including a 1940 command bus, a GAZ M-1 passenger car, a Willys jeep, a GAZ-69 jeep, a GAZ-51 truck, a ZIL-131 truck, and an M-72 motorcycle.

Some mechanical glitches occurred, but they were easily resolved.

Servicemen served buckwheat kasha from the field kitchen to the veterans.

WWII reenactors recreated the events of the war during the show.
