A live broadcast of a military parade dedicated to the 66th anniversary of the Soviet victory in the 1941-45 Great Patriotic War against Nazi Germany can be viewed from 10 am Moscow time (06:00 GMT) on the RIA Novosti website on May 9.
According to the Russian Defense Ministry, this year's parade will involve about 20,000 servicemen and cadets. Two hundred elite officers from Russia’s Space Forces will march on Red Square for the first time in the history of Moscow victory parades.
The event will also involve over 100 pieces of military hardware. It will culminate with a flyover by a group of five Mi-8 multirole helicopters carrying Russian state and military flags.
