World football all-stars in Grozny

The highlight of the opening ceremony of the Akhmad Kadyrov Sports Complex in Grozny, was the match between the “Caucasus” team and an international all-star team of veterans.

The new stadium was opened on May 11 and the gala celebrations ended with the match, which the home team won, 5-2.

The international all-star football team included Diego Maradona, Dida, Fabien Barthez, Nicola Amoruso, Alessandro Costacurta, Franco Baresi, Luis Figo, Ivan Zamorano, Alain Boghossian, Jean-Pierre Papin, Robbie Fowler, Enzo Francescoli, Christian Vieri, Roberto Ayala and Steve McManaman.

The “Caucasus” team included Ramzan Kadyrov, Magomed Daudov, Odes Baisultanov, Rinat Dasayev, Alexander Khloponin, Haidar Alkhanov, Apiti Alautdinov, Timur Dzhabrailov, Andrei Fedkov, Khanpash Ibragimov, Adlan Katsayev, Zaur Sadayev, Ramzan Tsutsulayev, Arsen Kanokov and Anzor Ismailov.
