An Egyptian youth movement has called for new protests on Friday to demand a step-up in the prosecution of officials from deposed leader Hosni Mubarak's administration.
In a statement on its Facebook page, the Revolutionary Youth group also demanded a solution to the fuel shortages that have hit the North African state.
Revolutionary Youth members took part in the protests that led to the ouster of Mubarak in February.
However, the Muslim Brotherhood movement has said it will not take part in new protests as "the organization does not have disagreements with either the interim High Military Council, nor with the country's government."
