Ten people died when a bus collided with a truck in the Moscow Region early on Friday, the Emergencies Ministry reported.
"A bus collided with a truck and caught fire at about 5 a.m. [0100 GMT]. Ten people died and three were hospitalized," a ministry spokesman said.
The vehicles collided in the Stupino District, around 100 km (62 miles) south of Moscow.
Law enforcement officers and rescuers are working on the site. An investigation is underway.
