Over a thousand people participated in the “Blonde Parade” last Saturday in Riga. Pink color and girls’ beautiful smiles made a colorful splash on the streets of Riga.

Over a thousand people participated in the “Blonde Parade” last Saturday in Riga. Pink color and girls’ beautiful smiles made a colorful splash on the streets of Riga.

Blonds were reigning that day at Riga Plaza moll.

International Blonde Festival has been held in Riga for the third time.

This year the festival was well attended again – city streets were full
of beauty-blondes, dressed up in pink, white and red colors.

The festival opened up with a Marilyn Monroe clone contest. The jury
assessed whether the contesters’ faces, bodies, height as well as
hairstyles and hair colors and (less so) their dresses resembled the
original Monroe’s looks.

While Monroe’s clones were strolling along the streets, the main stage
was taken up by the children’s fashion show and various contests for kids.

Blondes were entitled to various discounts, free movie tickets, special
billiard tournament and different contests that day.

Photo sessions were also held that day.

Men could not miss the parade either.

The festival ended up with a “Pink party” at the Cinema club, where
Marilyn Monroe contest winners were getting their awards.
