American police assigned three patrol cars to guarantee the safety of a family of geese on a highway in Seattle, according to AP. The situation was caught on a video surveillance camera.
The female goose and her chicks walked on to the highway in the rush hour, the most dangerous time of day. The police came to the rescue and closed the highway to traffic in both directions and let the geese walk along it, whilst they tried to find an exit from the road.
Police officer Julie Startup said her colleagues escorted the geese for around 20 minutes.
