According to the riding school’s website, its main objective is to revive the horse riding tradition as an integral part of Russian culture, by training the youth in the spirit of love for the Motherland, upholding the tradition of state equestrian ceremonies and popularizing equestrian sports as elements of a healthy lifestyle.
The horse riding school offers training programs for children between six and fourteen years of age. The most talented children are selected for show jumping and other applied equestrian sports teams.
The Spasskaya Tower Festival will feature musicians from all over the world. For the first time, the festival will host military bands from 14 countries. In total, 1,500 people will take part in the show, including 980 representatives of foreign countries.
The organizers expect up to 7,000 people to attend the show daily. Over 100 million people will be able to watch the festival through extensive coverage in Russian and foreign media.
