During the visit Putin met with his counterpart Francois Fillon. The prime ministers held bilateral talks in Matignon Palace.

Strengthening of Moscow-Paris ties was one of the main themes discussed. Vladimir Putin watched the flights of Russia’s Be-200 and Sukhoi Superjet aircraft. After the flights Putin and members of the Russian and French delegations approached Be-200 and had a talk with its commander Alexander Ternovov.

Putin’s visit comes amid increasing trade turnover and successful multi-directional cooperation.
