Russia's tennis star Maria Sharapova lost 3:6, 4:6 to the Czech Republic's Petra Kvitova at the Wimbledon Championships on Saturday.
The final match between Sharapova and Kvitova lasted just under an hour and a half.
This is Kvitova's first win at the championship. Last year Kvitova, 21, made it into the Wimbledon semifinals.
Sharapova took home the Wimbledon trophy in 2004.
