An A-320 passenger plane with 150 passengers on board carried out a successful emergency landing at an airport in Novosibirsk on Sunday after flying into a flock of birds.
The plane, en route to Krasnodar, was forced to land at Novosibirsk’s Tolmachevo airport shortly after taking off, a regional transport official told RIA Novosti.
No one was hurt in the incident.
The crew took the decision to return after the collision with the birds caused increased vibration.
