U.S. President Barack Obama hosted his first Twitter Town Hall with users of the social network, answering their questions, but not everyone found the experiment to be successful.
Obama answered on Wednesday 18 questions, which were moderated by Twitter’s co-founder Jake Dorsey. The president personally responded to the first question using a laptop.
"I know, Twitter, I'm supposed to be short," – said the U.S. president, known for his articulate speeches, as the 140 guests of his Twitter Town Hall at the White House laughed. However, the president did not restrain himself to the standard 140-character limit. He spent, on average, two minutes on each question.
