One man was killed and two were seriously injured in a brawl in downtown Moscow at about midnight, a police source reported on Monday.
The fight took place in Yuzhny Proyezd near the Russian capital's large railroad hub where three rail terminals are located. The area around the hub is ill-famed as many drunks and bums gather there.
"A conflict that started between a few men resulted in a brawl. One man died of stab wounds and two were hospitalized with serious injuries," the source said.
An investigation is underway.
