The parents of late British singer Amy Winehouse arrived at her north London home on Monday and greeted mourners laying flowers outside the building.
Winehouse, notorious for her drug and alcohol use, was found dead in her apartment on Saturday.
Amy's father, Mitch Winehouse, thanked everyone who had paid tribute to his daughter. He also thanked reporters for covering the event.
"This means so much to my family," he said.
Police have said they will release a post mortem on Winehouse's death later in the day.
Winehouse, 27, was the same age at death as musicians Jimi Hendrix, Jim Morrison, Janis Joplin, Brian Jones and Kurt Cobain at the time of their untimely deaths.
