The body of a French national was discovered in northeast Moscow on Thursday morning, police said.
Preliminary reports indicate the man had been beaten to death. His body was discovered near a residential building.
He has not been named, but police said he was married to a Russian woman and was born in 1982.
An investigation has been launched.
