Medvedev: I will never forgive Saakashvili for the killing of hundreds of Russians
14:06 GMT 05.08.2011 (Updated: 19:54 GMT 19.10.2022) Russian President Dmitry Medvedev dismissed claims that Moscow was gearing up for the 2008 war with Georgia and said he "will never forgive" Georgian leader Mikheil Saakashvili for the deaths of Russians caught up in the conflict.
Speaking during an interview with Russian and Georgian media ahead of the third tense anniversary of the conflict, Medvedev said Saakashvili's claims that Russia was preparing for the five-day war was "total bunk."
