The famous show has never been canceled in its entire history, and the heavy rain that has been falling in Scotland for several days could not disrupt the event.
The performance is traditionally opened by the symbol of Scotland, the bagpipe. Bagpipe music is performed at the event not only by the Scottish musicians, but by many other bands as well, including a band from Brazil.
