Four people were killed and dozens injured when a train derailed in central Poland on Friday, local media said.
At 4:15 p.m. local time [14:15 GMT], four carriages and the engine of an intercity train from Warsaw to Katowice went off the tracks in the village of Baby, near the city of Piotrkow Trybunalski in central Poland. The cause of the derailment is yet unknown.
About 280 passengers were on board the train. The first wagon overturned and suffered maximum damage.
A total of 20 people suffered serious injuries.
Helicopters, firefighters, ambulances and rescue services are involved in the rescue effort.
