The Boeing 787 Dreamliner has arrived in order to be presented at the MAKS-2011 International Aviation and Space Show in Zhukovsky, at the Ramenskoye airfield outside Moscow on August 15. The Dreamliner covered 15,000 nautical miles during its flight over from Seattle. Prior to this, the plane had only ever been on display at the Paris Airshow at Le Bourget in June 2011.
The Boeing 787 is a wide-body, twin-engine jet airliner. It can carry from 250to 330 passengers and can cover more than 16,000 kilometers. The Dreamliner is a mid-sized aircraft capable of serving long-distance routes, and its unmatched fuel-efficiency enables airlines to save up to 20% on fuel.
