Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovich has published a book titled Ukraine a Country of Opportunities on the eve of the country's Independence Day.
"I began writing this book when I was in the opposition and I just finished it now, while I'm on holidays," Yanukovich said. "I would like this book to be read beyond Ukraine," he added.
Yanukovych said that he wanted to show the real Ukraine to the world. The book is published in English. According to Yanukovych, in the near future it will be published in German, Ukrainian and Russian.
Yanukovych became president in February 2010. Before that he was in the opposition and leading the largest political force, the Party of Regions.
