A vegetable diet and reduction in meat consumption will decrease greenhouse gas emissions, the main reason for global warming, by 30%, scientists from the Vienna Technology University claimed.
“People still like eating sausages and other meat products instead of vegetables, which kill not only ourselves, but the environment as well. A healthy diet will decrease the number of fertilizing and energy consumption in the food production process. Greenhouse gas emissions originating from agriculture will decrease by one-third,” the university reported.
