Russian stock market slightly up at closing, recovers morning losses

Russia's stock exchanges, the RTS and MICEX, demonstrated a 0.5 percent increase at the closing of the trading day on Monday, after a more than 2 percent slump in the morning, the stock exchanges said.

The dollar-denominated RTS index rose 0.20 percent to 1,578.45 points, while the more liquid ruble-denominated MICEX index increased 0.36 percent to 1,443.93 points.
