Abkhazia may change its form of government in the future from presidential to parliamentary republic, but it is still too early to talk about it, Abkhazian president-elect Alexander Ankvab said on Saturday.
"Today we have a country - the Republic of Abkhazia, where president is the head of state, while in the future the country may chose the parliamentary form of government, but it is still too early to talk about it," Ankvab said.
Ankvab also said several posts, including the post of vice president, might be abolished in the future.
"It is quite possible that the post of vice president will be abolished," Ankvab
He added that as a result there would be no mediators and people hoping for diffused responsibility.
