At least 15 people were killed and over 12 were injured when a passenger bus fell into a swollen Tons river in Uttarakhand state of north India on Sunday, local media reported.
According to police reports, eight people are still missing. The bus fell into the river after the driver lost control of the vehicle on a sharp turn.
About 100,000 people die annually in road accidents in India.
