Gunmen who attacked the U.S. Embassy in Kabul on Tuesday have all been killed, the Afghan National Directorate of Security said.
Gunfire began close to the U.S. embassy on Tuesday morning, coinciding with blasts from five improvised explosive devices. One of the explosions occurred in the southern part of Kabul where the Russian embassy is situated.
The Taliban claimed responsibility for the attack.
