Russia's dollar-denominated RTS stock exchange index fell 3.46 percent compared to the previous close, while the country's ruble-denominated MICEX index went down 2.92 percent at closing on Friday on global woes and data on France’s and Germany’s poor economic performance.
As of 18:45 Moscow time, the RTS index amounted to 1,341.09, the MICEX index to 1,366.54.
In Europe, London's FTSE 100 dropped 1.94 percent to 5,096.18, Frankfurt's Dax lost 2.50 percent to 5,498.40, while France's CAC40 fell 1.75 percent to 2,974.61 by 14.50 GMT.
