Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly looking to bring in CSKA Moscow star Seydou Doumbia as the replacement for Roman Pavlyuchenko in the January transfer window.
Spurs will offer a cash-plus-player deal involving Pavlyuchenko in an effort to land the Ivory Coast international they value at £30 million ($47 million), the People reported.
Pavlyuchenko, who joined Tottenham in 2008 from Spartak Moscow, has not started a Premier league game for Spurs so far this term.
Doumbia is one of the top scorers in the Russian league with 22 goals this season.
