The daughter of former Ukrainian prime minister Yulia Tymoshenko is to divorce her British husband, the 1+1 TV channel said on Tuesday.
Tymoshenko’s daughter, Yevgenia, married British amateur rock musician Sean Carr in 2005 and took his name.
“The daughter of former prime minister no longer lives with British rock musician Sean Carr,” the channel said.
There has been no official comment so far.
After the wedding the couple lived in Ukraine. Sean Carr is now living in Britain, the channel said.
On October 11, Yulia Tymoshenko was sentenced to seven years in prison on abuse of office charges in connection with the signing of a gas contract with Russia in 2009. Tymoshenko’s lawyers appealed the verdict. Western states said the trial was “politically motivated."
