Shoigu says the pictures were taken in different periods, “long ago and just recently.” He noted that the views feature places in very remote regions of Russia where nature is still pristine. A photograph by Sergei Shoigu displayed at the Russian Wildlife exhibition.

The works by Russian Geographical Society President Sergei Shoigu are displayed along with those of professional photographers. These are four shots. Three were taken in Khakassia and one in the Krasnoyarsk Territory.
The exhibition of the best photographs by the contest winners and participants will last until the end of November.
