Viktor Vekselberg, Chairman and shareholder of the world’s largest aluminum producer RusAl and Skolkovo Foundation president, became the richest resident of Switzerland at year-end 2011, NashaGazeta.ch reported, quoting Swiss business magazine Bilan.
According to Bilan, his wealth has increased by one billion francs as compared with last year and reached 11 billion Swiss francs ($12 billion).
Gennady Timchenko, the owner of Gunvor Group, one of the world's largest oil trading companies, also has been ranked among Switzerland's richest people. His wealth has also increased by one billion Swiss francs and is estimated at 4-5 billion francs ($4.36 billion – $5.45 billion).
In addition, Vasily Anisimov, a co-owner of Metalloinvest, one of Russia's leading mining and metals companies made to the rich-list.
