Russia has condemned the terrorist attacks in Iraq that killed at least 49 people, the Foreign Ministry said on Thursday.
A wave of bomb blasts across Baghdad on Thursday morning killed 49 people and injured 170, according to the latest data. Some of the blasts went off at the scene of previous explosions, killing rescuers and other responders.
“We express our condolences to the relatives of those who were killed and extend our sympathy to the injured and their families. We are convinced that there are no excuses to these bloody deeds, no matter what the motives of those who organized and executed the attacks may have been,” the ministry said in a statement.
