Police have arrested a man suspected of robbing a bank in the eastern Ukrainian city of Donetsk on Thursday that left five bank employees dead, the web-based journal V Gorode reported on Friday, citing law enforcement sources.
Five people died in the robbery at the PrivatBank branch in the city center, including the 32-year-old branch manager, the mother of a one-year-old.
The suspect is reportedly a former bank employee who was well-informed concerning the security equipment in place at the bank.
"The suspect did not act alone. He had an accomplice," the report says.
Local police declined to confirm the information to RIA Novosti.
