St. Petersburg’s police have detained one of their own driving a stolen Lexus, the Russian Investigation Committee said on its web site.
Andrei Makogonenko, a 30-year old traffic police captain, was detained on January 10 on Pesochnaya Street in St. Petersburg at the wheel of a black Lexus JS-300. The car had been listed as stolen since November 2011.
A pre-investigation check is underway at present.
