Fire in the largest Central Asian mosque

One man was killed during fire in Kazakhstan’s Khazret Sultan mosque, the largest mosque in the Central Asia. It was planned to be opened in country’s capital of Astana for the 20th anniversary of Kazakhstan's independence in December 2011 but the work was not completed in time and President Nursultan Nazarbayev ordered to prolong construction for a year more.
