Skier Ekaterina Tkachenko claimed Russia's second bronze of the day at the Youth Olympic Games on Friday, in the women's slalom.
Tkachenko finished nearly 2 seconds behind winner Petra Vlhova of Slovakia and 1 1/2 seconds behind silver medalist Roni Remme on the combined results of two runs at the Patscherkofel resort near Innsbruck.
Earlier Friday, speed skater Vasily Pudushkin won bronze in the mass start event. Pudushkin was beaten to the gold by China's Fan Yang and to the silver by Seitaro Ichinohe of Japan.
It extends Russia's haul at the first-ever Winter Youth Olympic Games to five gold, two silver and seven bronze.
Russia's other medals have come in figure skating, cross-country skiing and biathlon.
The Russian biathlon relay team was disqualified on Thursday after winning the silver medal due to illegal lane crossing.
The Games opened last Friday in Innsbruck, bringing together a thousand 14- to 18-year-old athletes from 70 nations to the Tyrolean capital.
The competition, which runs through January 22, follows the inaugural Summer Youth Games in Singapore in 2010, and medals are up for grabs in seven sports: biathlon, bobsleigh, curling, ice hockey, luge, figure skating and alpine skiing.
