North Korean ambassador to Germany has been caught by police for fishing without a license in a Berlin river, Svoboda radio station reported on Friday.
North Korean Ri Si Hong, who was appointed the ambassador to Germany in September, 2011, was noticed on Sunday fishing on the bank of the Havel river in southwestern Berlin, the radio station cited German Foreign Ministry official as saying.
Germany, which strictly regulates fishing, did not issue any sanctions to the ambassador because of his diplomatic immunity, but warned Ri to respect the law of the country he works in, the radio station said.
